3. Bitcoin
While it is immensely important to teach children about financial interests and the use of money, I do not think it is imperative for children to learn the use of Bitcoin. It is quite a novel idea to have internet currency but it is not backed by any governing entity or gold, oil etc. Personally I do not think that children should learn about Bitcoin quite yet because it is still a fairly young concept and it is quite complicated to understand how it works. Maybe in the future when or if Bitcoin is a more of a common currency children should focus on it but for the time being teachers and parents should just stick with teaching their children the current paper and coin currencies.
