5. Virtual Field Trips

This is a wonderful site that lets people explore all different types of countries through the means of virtual reality.  First, it looks like a typical travel website where it has where you departure from and then where you want to arrive.  Once you pick a destination, the website brings you to a page where it has background information, guided tours and information on the people of that country.

This is a great and free way for students to learn about different cultures without ever having to leave the classroom.  It is also a great site for anyone that wants to travel to learn about where they are going and what they can expect when they get there.

This is another fantastic website that gives you a virtual tour of the amazing Museum of Natural History.  It has arrows to point the user in different directions to the exciting exhibits.  In each exhibit it has little cameras that can be clicked on to read about the information in that exhibit.  Also, it has different floors that can be explored with amazing graphical detail.

This is just a great website to explore the museum without having to pay any money to travel there.  Personally I love history and this website was just fascinating to me to explore.  Some people, such as I, may never get to go to the actual museum because of lack of funds.  So this is just a great way to view for people to view the amazing museum from the comfort of your own home or classroom.
